Back in the day, Ace Hardware used actress Suzanne Somers as their spokesperson. The campaign had deteriorated into “talking head,” so I put some life back into their commercials by capitalizing on her comic acting abilities. This old film to tape transfer is low in quality, but you’ll get the idea of my “silent movie” campaign--yes, a writer who didn’t (mostly) use words.
